Hall Pass: Spring Break.
She wanted to get away from it all, and what better way to relax than going on Spring Break?
I walked across the school’s parking lot towards my car. “Hey,” a voice startled me as I opened my door.
“Kelly!” I yelled at my best friend.
“You are so jumpy lately,” Kelly stated as she walked to her car.
“Yeah,” I said as I looked at her. “Don’t know why.”
“Maybe it’s because of that guy at the gym, stalking you?” Kelly asked.
“Nathaniel is not stalking me,” I smiled. “He just likes being my protector.”
“I would love it if he protected me,” Kelly smirked.
“You are married!” I laughed.
I knew what Kelly meant; she liked the dark-skinned men. Even though she was married to Todd, who was as pale as a ghost.
“I am sure Todd won’t mind,” Kelly grinned. “He might enjoy watching a real man take care of his wife.”
“I highly doubt that,” I smiled.
“See you tomorrow!” Kelly said as she got in her vehicle.
Nathaniel was hot on my heels the moment I came into the gym. I loved working out. I didn’t do it to lose weight or to look perfect.

Nathaniel smiled as he approached me. “You have admirers,” he said in that hot English accent.
I looked behind him and saw four guys looking my way. I smiled as I leaned forward slightly at the waist, a little more than necessary to pick up the bar before me.
“You’re so bad!” Nathaniel laughed.
“If they are going to watch, I might as well give them a show,” I smiled as I curled the bar.
Many women didn’t like my muscular look, and some men didn’t, but I did. I wasn’t a female bodybuilder or had massive arms or legs, but I was toned all over, and I liked it. So did Anthony, my husband.
Nathaniel was what was being comedically called my workout husband. I had told Anthony all about him. I left out that he was a black man because that would have ended my trips to the gym very quickly.
Anthony still held a grudge against all black men because of an incident that happened to him in college. He found his girlfriend in bed with a black man, and that was it. According to Anthony, all black males wanted to steal wives and girlfriends from white men. Every single one of them.
