Reacquainted Love Chapter Three: Together At Last
Joseph and Hollie finally tie the knot and seal their love.
“Well, next time we will see each other we will be getting married,” Hollie threw her arms around me.
“Yeah, twenty-four hours,” I grinned.
It was finally happening, I was marrying the first girl I ever kissed, or made out with, after so many years.
It made the saying all so true. True love does find a way.
I dropped Hollie off at her best friend’s house and waved goodbye. I was off to my friend’s house.
I had lost many of my friends since that incident at the bar. Some of them didn’t like the way I took Hollie away from Eric, but like Hollie told them and many others. Eric and she were only dating; there had been no solid commitment made, so he had no reason to be upset.
It didn’t matter anyway, I had made some new friends and rekindled old friendships with people I went to high school with.
Everything was turning out much better than I planned.
“Okay,” Wayne, my friend, said as we started drinking at the local bar.
“Oh no,” I shook my head. “You promised!”
“Oh, not that,” Wayne shook his head.
I told them no strippers, dancers, or anything of the sort.
“We just want to know on a scale of one through ten,” Logan started. “How rich are you?”
“That’s the dying question?” I asked. “How much money do I make or have?”
“Yes,” Leonard nodded.
“Everywhere we go you always pick up the tab,” Wayne stated.
